Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: Full list of winners
Full list of 543 Lok Sabha seats with winners: The 2024 Lok Sabha election results ended up as one of the most unexpected results of all time, as despite the exit poll agencies giving the BJP-led NDA a cakewalk, the INDIA bloc came out with an impressive show and proved the exit polls wrong by winning 232 seats, while NDA ends up with 294 seats in their account.
Notably, the BJP, who won 283 and 303 seats in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, respectively, finished with just 240 seats in their account, meaning for the first time in the last 3 elections, they failed to secure a clear mandate mark of 272. This is also the first time Narendra Modi will form a state or central government without a clear majority.
However, despite all the ups and downs, Narendra Modi will create history as he will become only the third leader to hold the Prime Minister Chair of India for the third time, along with Jawaharlal Nehru and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He will also equal Jawaharlal Nehru’s record of taking oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive time.
The counting to determine the fate of over 8,000 candidates contesting in the 542 Lok Sabha seats across the country was concluded late at night on Tuesday, June 4. Here’s a complete list of the winning candidates in the Lok Sabha 2024 elections.
